Powering IT Together
SpiceWorld is an IT Conference held in Austin, TX that has connected thousands of IT pros and brought an IRL experience to the community forum.
The company tasked the creative team with designing and executing a sub brand that would be flexible to work well in both print and digital.
The identity of SpiceWorld needed to feel like an extension of the main Spiceworks brand. The team
decided on bringing new life to the secondary color palette with the use of gradients and overlaid patterns.
The team wanted to introduce the use of 45 degree angles to keep the conference feeling dynamic and
energetic. The pattern, designed by Ryan Lewis, was inspired by connections and circuits.
Filling out the Austin Convention Center was no easy task. The team had an idea of what went where based on previous years. After everything was mapped out when began designing signage and directional pop ups. The goal was to bring new life to the convention center with large signage and bright colors.
Every year the team gets creative with designing swag for the attendees - whether it be free or sold in the Swag Shop. We had a range a products such as enamel pins, shirts, jackets, plushies and more. Fun Fact - all shirts were sold out by Day 2!
